Back to Work and Weight Check

Well my maternity leave end last week and I returned to work. Things have been going very well, Matt is adjusting to a schedule and is sleeping great at night. He usually gets about a 5 to 6 hour stretch between his dinner feeding and his middle of the night feeding so I am excited about that. Work is going well for me, things are a little stressful but I am getting back into the swing of things. I miss by baby a lot but it makes the time I have with him so much more special.

Last week we went to the doctors for a weight check. Matt is 13 weeks and weighs 10lbs 1oz, he is growing but is still a little guy. Enjoy the random photos... we think they are cute.
Such a happy baby

Fun at Eckert's

Last weekend we went to Eckert's Farm to pick apples and get some pumpkins. After two straight days of rain we had a beautiful day. Matty really enjoyed it, he loves being outside.

12 Weeks

Hard to believe that my maternity leave is almost over. My baby will be 12 weeks old this Thursday, which also means that I have to go back to work. I have mixed feelings, I am looking forward to going back but know that it will be tough to handle everything and adjust to a schedule. Matt on the other hand will be well taken care of, Aunt Jill is going to watch him three days a week and then he will go to an in home sitter the other two.

All snug and cozy... he loves grabbing and holding onto blankets

The other day, Jenny came over with Everett to hang out. Everett is getting so big, he is crawling and pulling himself up on everything. Here are the boys hanging out together.
Since my family lives so far away, I tried to catch some cute Matty moments on camera. Enjoy these quick little videos.

Cardinals Game

Brian and I got free tickets to the Cardinals game this past Saturday so we decided to take Matt with us. He did wonderful, slept through most of the game. We ended up losing, but oh well... playoffs start this week!! Go CARDS. Besides baseball, Matt is doing very well, starting to sleep for a pretty good stretch at night, which mommy loves. He is also really getting strong with his head and he has finally started to smile on command. He is still our little peanut, we go back to the doctor for a weight check in about two weeks, right before I return to work. Hard to believe that my 12 weeks is almost up. I have loved staying home, but I am sort of excited to head back to work.
