Memorial Day

Well I officially started my summer pool management job. Saturday I worked all day for the pool opening and then Brian and I drove down to the lake that night. We stayed at Nana and Papa's house. The weather wasn't too good Sunday, every time we tried to do something on the water it would rain. But we still had fun, we ended up just hanging out inside. Monday was beautiful, we got to go on a long boat ride and float around on our new raft. It was a nice little break away, but now it is back to work. Brian and I are keeping busy, with me now working full time and we are in the process of putting a patio in our backyard.

Cardinals Game

Last Wednesday Brian and I got to go to the Cardinals game in a party box. The party boxes are really cool and it's free food and drinks. Brian's siblings were at the game too along with Marissa's boyfriend, Brian.

Well not much to say here, but I had to post these two pictures because they made me laugh. Chase was over other night and he had to sit on phone books so he could eat at our table. He tries to eat all by himself and let me just say he does pretty well!!

Hillary's Birthday

Saturday was Hillary's 24th birthday so we all went out to celebrate. Jason's parents joined us for our night on the town. We went to Bandanna's for dinner, it is a little family barbecue restaurant, it was sooo good. After dinner we went to the Ameristar Casino. We had a fun time, played some slots and some three card poker, but nobody won anything. Oh well, Hillary's birthday celebration was still fun. For Mother's Day Brian and I hung out with his family at Nana and Papa's house. We grilled out and the boys played whiffle ball. The weather was beautiful, nice and summer like. Speaking of summer, the pool I am managing opens in two weeks, so things are getting busy around here.

Graduation

This past Saturday, Brian graduated from Maryville University (yes, the school where he works), with his Masters in Business Administration. It was an outside ceremony, and the weather was perfect. Not too hot and no rain. I think Brian is happy to finally be done with his MBA, and to be able to take a break from school for a while. His mom joked that his Doctorate is next and he said maybe!! So we'll have to wait and see. But for now summer is almost here and for us that means trips to the lake and lots of cooking out. Especially since Brian got a new grill for graduation and a fire pit too.
