Decorating For Christmas

We spent the day Saturday cleaning and decorating the house for Christmas. It was so fun to be able to decorate our house. Next weekend we are going to get our Christmas tree. Brian did a great job outside on the lights, I will have to take a picture. Later that night we went to a hockey fundraiser for Brian's team.

I know I am a dork, but the dining room looks so pretty, I just love Christmas time, the whole house is decorated and smells so nice.

Thanksgiving Day

Brian and I spent Thanksgiving in St Louis. We ate at his parent's house with the rest of the family. Lots of good food and fun times with family. On Friday, I went shopping with a bunch of friends, surprisingly it wasn't that crazy. (It was my first time shopping on black Friday) I got some really good deals though.

Trivia Night

This past weekend was quite fun. On Saturday Brian and I went to Buffalo Wild Wings for lunch so that we could both watch our football games. MIZ-IO (Mizzou and Ohio State) Well both teams came out on top. Go Buckeyes!! Later that night we went to a trivia night, it was a lot of fun. Our table did not win, since most of the trivia questions we aimed at people twice my age, but we all shared some good laughs.

Fun Times

Almost 11 months... it is hard to believe that Brian and I will be celebrating our 1 year anniversary soon. This past year has just flown by, but it has been a good one. This weekend was a fun one; my mom flew in from Ohio for a visit. It was good to see her and we got to spend some quality time together. We did plenty of Christmas shopping and scrapbook shopping. We even went to the Affton Hockey Fundraiser Night, I think she really enjoyed it. Brian was the Emcee and he did a great job. Other than that things are going well, my job is great and Brian is busy as usual. I think we are both looking forward to Thanksgiving break.

Jacki's Visit to St Louis

This past weekend Jacki came to visit us. It was so great to see my sister and spend some quality time with her. This was her first time getting to see our house and really being able to enjoy St Louis. We went all over the place, the Science Center, Zoo, Galleria, Ted Drewes, the Loop, Fitz's, etc. The weather was beautiful all weekend so we were really able to enjoy the day. Unfortunately she had to go back to Ohio yesterday, but her visit here was a good one.

Halloween and Fall Festival

For Halloween, Brian and I had people over to hang out and watch movies. I made chili and apple crisp, so yummy. We didn't have very many trick-or-treaters, I guess we live in an older neighborhood, not many kids. Oh well it was still fun.
Chase came over to hang out too

The Newest Addition...

A few weekends ago Brian and I made a big purchase. Please welcome the newest addition to our family. Brian's favorite item in the house, our new tv. Brian was so excited that he stayed up until like 2am putting it all together and playing around with it. There is just something about boys and their toys.
