2 Months Old

I can't believe that it has already been two months. I only have three more weeks off... I am not so sure I am ready to go back, but I guess I have no choice. Anyway, Matt had his 2 month check up today. He grew 2 inches... he is now 22 inches long (25th percentile) and weighs 9lbs 8oz (6th percentile). He is a skinny guy and the doctor wants to see him back in three weeks for a weight check, Matt is currently on medicine for reflux and the doctor is hoping he will start to put some more meet on his bones. Besides that, he is doing well. Starting to smile and make noises, he is able to really hold his held up well on tummy time and when he burps. Below are just some random photos of our sweet baby boy, who had 4 shots today, so he is currently sleeping.

Family Time in Ohio

Matty got to meet all of my family members. They were all so excited to finally see him in person. My mom had everyone over for a big pasta dinner and quality time with the baby.

OSU-TOLEDO

While in Ohio, I got to go to the OSU-TOLEDO game at the Brown's stadium. Matty stayed with Aunt Jacki and Uncle Patrick for the day. He did great and I enjoyed the beautiful weather and big win for OSU.
Had to show support for both teams

After the game we went to dinner with Heather and David and her parents. It was great to spend some time with good friends. Oh how we miss them already.

Matt's First Trip to Ohio

Last week Matt and I took a trip to Ohio to visit my family. He did so well on the plane, slept the whole time. Everybody complimented me on how well he did, maybe we have a future pilot. Our trip home was great. We got to see my cousin play football, visit with lots of friends and family, and go to the OSU-TOLEDO game.

Here we go, off to Ohio

Chase's First Soccer Game

A few weeks ago Chase had his first soccer game and we all went to watch. You gotta love watching 4 and 5 year olds run after a soccer ball and then try and shoot on an empty net, no goalies at this age yet. Chase-man did great for his first game.

Master's Celebration

While my parents were in town we went out to dinner to celebrate the completion of my master's degree. Yeah, I am officially done with school.

Grandma and Grandpa's Visit to St Louis

My parents came for a visit last week, they stayed about 10 days and were such a big help. They loved seeing Matt and I couldn't get Grandpa to put him down, but that meant some extra sleep for me. I miss them now but will be in Ohio later this week.
Matt is getting so big, he loves to hold onto you when you are holding him. Whether it be your shirt, skin, or even the burp cloth. He also has been focusing more on objects, he will just sit and stare at things for ever. He is getting a little better at sleeping, just not a fan of sleeping by himself, I don't blame him. He doesn't want to miss anything.
