The Lion King

Last Saturday Brian and I went to see the Lion King at Fox Theatre. It was amazing. We had great seats only about 15 rows from the stage. The costume design and make-up is unreal, I can't even explain it. We really enjoyed the show and are looking forward to seeing Wicked there in December.

Grant's Farm Visit

This past weekend Brian took me to Grant's Farm, which is General Ulysses S. Grant's old farm land. Grant's Farm is home to hundreds of animals from all over the world. (See Dad I learned something while we were visiting) We got to see some really cool animals, see some of my favorites below.

Making a washers set...

Last week Jenny and I got together to make Brian a washers set for his birthday (yeah we were a little late with the gift) We cut the wood and put it together all by our selves. We were quite proud of our accomplishment.

Toledo Trip

This past weekend I went to Toledo for a fun girls weekend. Friday I got to see some old friends from college and my old swim team. Saturday all of us girls went to celebrate for Katie's bachlorette party. We all had a great time hanging out at the beach, hiking, dinner, fun games and gifts. It was National Ice Cream Day on Sunday so of course Heather and I had to get some Mr. Freeze... I miss that place. Anyway it was a nice visit and really good to spend some quality time with old friends.

Last week Brian and I went to the lake for a few days. Phil, Jill, Jason, and Hillary joined us as well. It was a nice little relaxing vacation. The first two days were kind of cloudy and raining but but Monday it was beautiful and we were able to get lots of sun.

New Patio

Well our patio is finally done. Brian and his friends have been working on this project for most of June. It looks great and this past weekend we had a party and everyone loved the finished product. For those of you who don't know we started with a deck in our backyard that was old and falling apart...

Jeni's trip to Ohio

This past weekend I went back to Ohio for a visit. It was really good to see my family and friends. On Saturday I went to a wedding of and old high school friend. It was beautiful and great to see some old friends.

This past weekend I also got to watch my cousin Anthony play baseball. His team won!! At the game my Grandma was so fascinated by my ipod, here she is listening to it.

On Sunday we had the family over for Father's Day. We played games, ate, and hung out by the pool. It was cold, but my cousins went swimming.

Later that night lots of our friends and neighbors came over and we played some volleyball. It was lots of fun. In this picture you can see my Dad getting ready to hit the ball, he looks so funny.
