Field Visit
Well this past week Brian and I got to go to yet another Cardinal's game. This time we went with Maryville students, Brian was one of the staff that helped out with the event. Well this game was even more exciting because we got to do a field visit before the game started. We were able to watch the Cardinal's batting practice from right on the field. It was really cool to see the players close up, we didn't get any autographs though. Oh well the game was good, we played the Reds and won!!! Go Cards.

A teaching job
I have good news...yesterday I got offered a full time teaching job for the upcoming school year!! I will be teaching at Lindbergh High School, which is in the Lindbergh school district only about 10 minutes from our house. I am not sure yet what classes I will actually be teaching but I am still excited. Plus they have a fairly new swimming facility with possibilities of coaching positions too. Thank you to everyone who has been praying for me, God is good!!

A NEW HAIR CUT
So this post is mainly for my grandma...I think she was a little nervous that I was going to cut off all my hair (she doesn't like it too short) Anyway after years of the same old hair style I decided to go for a change.
I posted a picture because my Ohio family wanted to see what it looked like. Well not much else to say...
Party Time
On Saturday night we headed back up to Maryville for Luau that Jason was the DJ for. The girls and I danced most of the night. It was a lot of fun.

Games at Maryville
The weather here is beautiful. This past weekend we got to enjoy a little bit of the sun at Maryville, where Brian works. Jill, Brian, I joined some Maryville staff for volleyball and kickball. Our team wasn't very good and we lost in the first rounds to some students. Oh well, we still had a great time though.

Cardinals Game with our parents
On Sunday we took my parents and Brian's parents to the Cardinal's game. What a day, it was the first sunny day all week. A perfect day for a ball game and the cardinals won. Albert Pujols hit two home runs!! We had a lot of fun and afterwards my parents got to experience Ted Drew's, my favorite place to get ice cream. All in all it was a great weekend and I think my parents had some fun. In other news I have started interviewing for teaching jobs. I had an interview on Monday and got called back for a second interview yesterday. I am really excited and will keep you all posted as things progress.

Baby Shower
Last Saturday afternoon I got to go to a triple baby shower. Yes three of my girl friends here are due within a few months of each other. Feels just like Toledo did (Julie, Laura, etc)!! Anyway it was a lot of fun and I am definitely excited to meet the new arrivals when they get here.

Soeder parents in for a visit
This past weekend my parents came to St Louis for a visit. My mom had a scrap booking convention on Thursday-Saturday and so my dad decided to come with her. It was good to see them both and we had a lot of fun. Friday night my dad and I went to the LOOP (which is where Nelly is from) and had dinner at Fitz's; a St Louis root beer bottling company. The shop is right there in the restaurant, so it is really cool to eat and watch them fill the bottles. On Saturday Brian and I along with my dad and Brian's parents went to the Anheuser-Busch Brewery for a tour. It was really cool and at the end you get free beer.

Adult Easter Egg Hunt
Saturday night, Brian and I went on an adult Easter egg hunt with Phil, Jill, Jason, and Hillary. The six of us had a blast. It was still very cold out, so we all bundled up and then headed out to the park. There were over 2,000 adults in attendance, everyone ready with their flashlights and plastic bags. The park contained over 25,000 eggs!! (Yes that is a lot) It was so cool to walk through the park at night and just see flashlights everywhere. Well we each found some eggs which all had candy in them and some eggs won us better prizes. The best part of the whole night was when Brian found the GOLDEN EGG (there we only about a dozen of these and they were the big prizes) He yelled and screamed and then proceed to prance around the park. It was very funny; but his GOLDEN EGG won us a $100 gift card to Shane Company (a jewelry store). We all had a lot of fun and we all decided that we are definitely going back next year.

Dying Easter Eggs
On Saturday we had a garage sale (Yes we have been married for three months and still have a lot of junk) Phil and Jill brought their junk over too and despite the freezing cold weather we still managed to make some cash. It was actually really fun to watch people buy our junk, I guess the old saying "One man's junk, is another man's treasure" is very true. Anyway after the garage sale we went shopping and saw the Easter Bunny. This Easter Bunny was a little sketchy though and Chase didn't like him. After shopping we got to dye Easter eggs at Jason and Hillary's house. Chase had a lot of fun dying eggs and apparently so did the adults.

1st Cardinals Game
Last Wednesday Brian and I went to the Cardinals verses the Mets game. It was our first game of the season and boy was it cold. St Louis had a cold spell last week and so it was only about 35 degrees at the game and very windy. The weather did not stop us though, we were excited to be at the ball park, however the Cards lost 10 to 0, it was not a very good game. Oh well, Brian and I still enjoyed our time together.

Hockey Nationals
Last week Brian and I flew to Detroit, Michigan with the Affton Midget Minor Team for the National Tournament. We were one of only 12 teams to compete at this tournament. The boys had a tough start but managed to qualify for Saturday's Elite 8 games. However they lost to the North Dakota Starz in the quarter finals. These boys played great hockey all week and despite the disappointment of not winning Nationals they still had a tremendous season. Brian and I had a lot of fun with the team in Michigan. Besides the hockey we were able to hang out with coaches and parents. I also got to see some of my Toledo buddies. Some of them drove up and had dinner with me, it was great to see old friends. All in all it was a great week. Check out some of the pictures from our trip below.
