Mother's Day

Brian was out of town for Mother's Day so it was just me and my little boy. We headed to Florissant with Jill and Chase to watch the Valley of the Flowers Parade with her family. Later we had dinner at YaYa and Papa's house. The weather was beautiful and we had such a great day. I just love being a mom and am so blessed to have Matthew in my life.

Videos of Matt

Matt loves to help me clean (he is definitely my child), especially when we clean his room and he can jump on his mattress. Check him out jumping below.

Dying Easter Eggs and Random Stuff

Matt had a lot of fun dying Easter Eggs this year. I used a wire whisk to hold the egg so that he wouldn't drop it and it worked so well. The finished eggs look great, can't wait til Easter is over so I can eat them.

This fun surprise came in the mail from Aunt Jamie, Uncle Kenny, Aunt Jacki, and Uncle Patrick. Thanks guys we loved it.

Florida Trip

This past week Matt and I headed to Florida to visit my grandparent's. They have a house in Sebring (in a retirement community) and were very excited for our visit. We had perfect weather and enjoyed a break from the St Louis snow. I had so many cute pictures, so be prepared...

We spent one evening at the Sebring Children's Museum, it was very similar to the Magic House but much smaller and we were practically the only ones there. Matt had a blast.

Matthew Kevin

Matt stayed home sick the other day with Brian and he didn't nap at all that day (and he was up early too). Needless to say he fell asleep in my arms at dinner, I changed him and gave him a bath and he actually slept through the whole thing. I wanted to get a picture of him sleeping in the tub but I couldn't let go of him. Anyway our little man is starting to feel better, but we are going to see a pediatric ENT later this month to check on his ears.

St Patrick's Day Parade

This past weekend Jill and I started our day off with the St Patty's Day 5-mile run. The weather was perfect and we both did great, ran the whole thing. Afterwards we headed to the downtown parade. We all loved the sun this year, it made for a great afternoon outside.

Later that night we headed to Maryville for the annual trivia night. We ended up in 6th this year.... so proud of the Village Idiots
