Friends Weekend at the Lake

Last weekend we headed to the Lake with a bunch of our friends. We stayed at Tan-Tar-A in a 6 bedroom house, it was so nice and spacious which is a good thing considering we had 15 adults and 11 children under age 4 staying there. We had a wonderful time and can't wait to do it again next year, the kids were so well behaved and loved playing at the pool.

Summer Fun, Father's Day, and Big Boy Bed

Summer in the Gardner house is in full swing. I am loving being at home with Matt, he is getting so big and learning so much. He constantly makes me laugh but also tries my patience (he can be a stinker at times). Only one more month and he will be 2, I can't believe it. The summer is just flying by, the school year will be here before we know it. But for now enjoy the updates.

Oh no, you caught me

For Father's Day we went to the Cardinal's game. It was really hot, but we stuck it out until the 7th inning when Matt fell asleep so we decided to head home.

This past weekend we hit another milestone in the Gardner house. Matt climbed out of his crib so we had to turn his crib into a toddler bed. We went out and bought a new pillow with sports balls on it and made a sticker chart. He likes the stickers he gets when he sleeps in his "big boy" bed. So far things are going pretty well, he is still taking good naps just takes us a little longer to get him to sleep. I just can't believe he is getting so big.

Brian's Surprise Birthday Trip

Brian turned 30th on June 4th and so for his birthday I planned a surprise trip to Florida. Jason, Hillary, and Jill joined us and Brian was surprised. We all had a great time, the weather was perfect and we enjoyed the adult interaction time and sleeping in. We did miss our kiddos but it was a great way to start our summer.

Brian and I had one day by ourselves in Florida so we headed back to Miami and did some shopping and had lunch. Oh and we drove by the Arena where the Heat play and just had to snap a picture for my Cleveland friends and family

We also then headed to the Marlin's game... we got in for free!! There was hardly anyone there but it was cool to see the stadium.

Memorial Day Weekend at the Lake

My parents flew in from Ohio to spend some time with us, we headed to the lake for Memorial Day. The weather was beautiful, we enjoyed some long boat rides and fun in the sun. It was a very relaxing weekend and great to spend time with my parents.
