Mom and Dad Soeder to Saint Louis

Last week my mom came for a long visit. She was able to come to our baby shower and then spend some time in Saint Louis. My dad joined her the following weekend, for a few days of rest and relaxation. We were going to head to the lake for Memorial Day weekend but decided not to based on the weather. Instead we hung out around town and worked on the nursery.

What's a trip to Saint Louis without Ted Drewes... however this trip ended in the emergency room. My mom tripped and fell and she had to get some x-rays... she's okay though.

Byrne Twins 1st Birthday

Last weekend Aiden and Blake celebrated their first birthday. It is hard to believe that they are already a year old, they are growing so fast. My parents went with us to the party, so they had fun seeing all of our Saint Louis friends.

Getting the Nursery Ready

My parents were a huge help when they were in town. We painted the nursery together, my mom picked the color, and she did a wonderful job. It is super cute. I will post more pictures of it once we add all the finishing touches.
Brian priming the nursery before he left for Vegas. His Dad took him and his brothers to Vegas for a male-bonding trip. While we was gone, my parents and I painted and put together some of the furniture, oh and we did some shopping for cute baby clothes. I just couldn't resist.

My dad and I put together the changing table and the dresser... we made a pretty good team and it didn't take us to terribly long

We saved the crib for Brian once he got back from Vegas... although it only took him and my dad like 15 minutes to put it together

Saint Louis Family Baby Shower

A few weeks ago, Nancy and Marissa threw us a baby shower for our Saint Louis family and friends. It was great to see everyone and my mom even flew in for the festivities.

Ohio Visit

Last weekend, my baby sister, Jacki got married. Brian and I flew to Ohio for all of the events. It was a very busy weekend, with the bachelorette party, rehearsal, wedding, and then Mother's day. But we managed to survive. Enjoy all of the pictures... I posted a lot of them.

After the wedding some of my family went to the Boneyard to hang out and watch the Cavs game. The Cavs won and we all had a great time.

Wedding Ceremony

Despite the weather forecast, the rain held off and the ceremony was outside and beautiful. It was a little windy, but the sun was shining and the bride was beautiful.

I just love this picture... we still had like 20 minutes until the ceremony so Jacki decided she was just going to sit and relax... such a calm bride

Rehearsal Dinner

The rehearsal was perfect and afterwards we headed to Patrick's parent's house for a Mexican Fiesta with the families.

Jacki's Bachelorette Party

Thursday night before the wedding the girls went out for Jacki's bachelorette party. We went to a pottery painting place and everybody painted something for Jacki's house. It was a lot of fun.
