Last weekend we all went out to celebrate Jill's new job. We had a great time at dinner and we even got Jason and Hillary to tell us the babies names... (I'll wait until they are born to post about them though) Anyway Chase asked Uncle Brian to read him a story and I just couldn't resist the picture... they are so cute
Later that night the boys tried out Jason's hot tub for the first time this year
Sunday was our first Cardinal's game of the season and they lost 8-2. It was a beautiful day, but a terrible game. It was 8-0 going into the bottom of the 9th. Oh well, can't win them all.

Jill and Chase came too Here's Chase saying "Charge" So cute.. he fell asleep in like the 6th inning Marissa and Brian joined us too
Last weekend I flew back to Ohio for a visit. It was great to see family and friends. I had lunch with Jill (my old high school friend and college roommate). Then on Friday night Jacki and I went to the Indians game with Missy and Jen. The Indians lost and it rained but we got free tickets to a suite so it was worth it.

It was a great conferences and then afterward Heather and I got to spend some much needed time together. Later that night I hung out with some old friends; we played pool and wii.
It was so nice outside this weekend, hopefully Spring is here to stay. Yesterday we had Hillary's baby shower, for those of you who don't know Hillary and Jason are expecting TWIN BOYS in July. Jill and I threw Hillary's shower and it was awesome. Lots of Hillary's friends and family were there and they got a lot of gifts.

Well things are very busy in the Gardner house. Brian is working hard at Maryville with only about a month left of classes and Spring hockey started last week. I am back to school after Spring break with only 8 more weeks until summer vacation :) I am now officially registered and ready to begin my master's class at Lindenwood University---which is where Brian's brothers go to school and play hockey. I am going to start this summer and hope to finish up next fall with my Master's degree in Character Education.
At Lindbergh right now I was asked to join the Character Education District Team and I am going to be presenting on Character Ed with a few of my co-workers at a National Conference this summer. The conference just so happens to be in St Louis, how perfect. Other than that not much else is going on. Lots of rain not very much sun, so hopefully these next few weeks will bring some nice weather to St Louis.
Last weekend Brian decided to build a fire in our backyard
we enjoyed hanging out for a while--- I didn't stay too long, it was too cold
