New Patio

Well our patio is finally done. Brian and his friends have been working on this project for most of June. It looks great and this past weekend we had a party and everyone loved the finished product. For those of you who don't know we started with a deck in our backyard that was old and falling apart...

Jeni's trip to Ohio

This past weekend I went back to Ohio for a visit. It was really good to see my family and friends. On Saturday I went to a wedding of and old high school friend. It was beautiful and great to see some old friends.

This past weekend I also got to watch my cousin Anthony play baseball. His team won!! At the game my Grandma was so fascinated by my ipod, here she is listening to it.

On Sunday we had the family over for Father's Day. We played games, ate, and hung out by the pool. It was cold, but my cousins went swimming.

Later that night lots of our friends and neighbors came over and we played some volleyball. It was lots of fun. In this picture you can see my Dad getting ready to hit the ball, he looks so funny.
We also celebrated my Uncle Jack's 50th Birthday!!

Marissa's 21st Birthday

Last Wednesday was Marissa's 21st Birthday. The family went out to dinner at Helen's, one of Marissa's favorite restaurants. Then they went to the Bean House. (Brian's Uncle owns it) I had to work at the pool so I couldn't join them until later...you will notice my wet hair and scrubby clothes. Anyway it was a lot of fun.

Sports Basement

Well this past month has been a busy one for us. Brian and I have been working on our basement/family room. I painted some of the walls red and some of them white. Go Cardinals!! And Buckeyes!! Anyway, a few nights ago Brian and I finally decorated it with all of his sports stuff. I tried to take pictures from all angles, but it was tough. I did get some good ones. ENJOY!!

This past Saturday Jill and Hillary brought Chase up to the pool where I work to go swimming. It was his first time this summer and he loved it. The weather has been really nice here. I have been working a lot at the pool, but I love it. We are still working on our patio, the stones should be delivered soon and our steps will be poured this week. Look for pictures soon.

Brian's Birthday

Monday was Brian's 26th birthday!! He and I both had the day off from work, so we started the day with a pancake breakfast. Yummy!! We hung out and then Phil came over to help Brian work in the yard (we are putting in a new patio) For dinner Brian and I went to Outback for some steaks and then to Phil and Jill's for cake and hang out time. I think he had a good day!!

Our Beach Bathroom

Well things have been busy around the Gardner house. I have been working in the downstairs part of our house, painting and decorating. Our sports basement is almost done and below is our beach bathroom. I just love it. Check out our before and after pictures!!!
